The main responsibility for this mission lies with our Client Experience team, to which we are now looking for a dedicated Platform & Data Specialist. In this position, you will be instrumental in driving exceptional client experiences, by being a spearhead expert in our platform and a master of tailoring it to our customer’s unique needs.
Responsibilities & tasks
As a Platform & Data Specialist at Populum, you will:
be one of the Experts in our platform and technology, including having deep knowledge of every nook and cranny of the platform itself, its functions and features as well as a profound understanding of how it all works “under the hood”.
This does not require coding skills, but rather comprehending the logical connections and functioning of the system, e.g. to enable you to effectively address complex customer requests and find suitable solutions.
have a deep understanding of our data (the types of data we possess, how it is structured, its logical relationships, and how it is used and not yet used).
This will require that you are comfortable navigating databases, extracting, analyzing, and updating data. While some prior experience SQL can be beneficial, it is not a requirement for this role. With your innate talent for numbers and data, coupled with a quick learning ability, you can quickly reach the necessary skill level, even starting from scratch.
with your expertise in our platform and data, assist the Customer Success, Support and Sales teams in various matters (often originating from customers’ or prospects’ requests or questions).
This will include tasks such as compiling custom data reports, extracting, updating, inserting, or adjusting customer data in the database and configuring or adjusting customer settings in the platform.
work especially close with the CSMs in customer interactions during implementation processes. This phase is particularly crucial as it involves addressing intricate inquiries regarding organizational data structures, such as how a customer's HR master data integrates with our platform and identifying potential customizations required for seamless functionality.
In a typical scenario, the customer shares their master data extract, which you analyze based on your knowledge of our platform and data structures e.g. to identify potential compatibility hurdles that may call for adaptations.
based on your expertise in our data, be responsible for various data utilization projects, for instance being involved in various benchmarking or analytics projects.
as the Client Experience team is our “ears to the ground”, be highly involved in our product development, making sure that every new feature aligns with our customers’ needs.
in addition to your core responsibilities, be able to dedicate a portion of your time to pursue your passions or engage in areas of personal interest. Whether it relates to the Customer Experience field or other parts of our organization, as a dynamic and expanding company, numerous opportunities will arise for you to explore diverse projects beyond your primary role.
Skills & qualifications
We believe that in order to be a great fit for the Platform & Data Specialist role, it would be beneficial if you:
are a very quick learner and have an above-average ability to absorb and process information. The key to success in this role will be to quickly reach the expert level in the Populum platform and technology.
have solid Excel and number skills and are used to handling data with confidence, ease and speed, while at the same time making sure that the attention to details (and error avoidance) is not lost.
are tech-savvy in general and have a high “digital speed”, i.e. are a skilled computer user that will always assume that all things that are performed with a mouse and keyboard can be done faster (not necessarily to be able to do more and more work, but rather because it is more fun to do things faster).
have the ability to understand abstract concepts, and are able to proactively identify “the unknown” or “the unspoken” (e.g. being able to – on a high level – identify / predict what makes a retail customer different from a municipality, from the perspective of our platform).
have a sense of structure and a drive to organize the disorganized (e.g. being attracted rather than intimidated by unstructured or low-quality data that needs your care). If you have also some sense of design (e.g. can create a nice looking PPT in a customer’s template) it would be advantageous.
are fluent in Swedish and English, especially in written communication, and an ability to communicate complex matters in a structured and easily interpreted way to our clients (and with a friendly tone even when it is the fifth time you explain the same matter that day). Other languages (especially Finnish) would be a big plus (but not required).
